About Us
The Maryland Volleyball Program (MVP) provides opportunities for boys to compete in USA Volleyball Junior Olympic competition at a local, regional, and national level. MVP was first established in 1986 and has competed in every JOV National Championship since 1987.

We are dedicated to providing quality training beyond what is available through the school systems, and competition at a local, regional, and national level. This competitive athletic experience can enhance social development, contribute to mental and physical health, and teach the values of teamwork, responsibility, self discipline, and self motivation.

It is our sincere desire to provide a solid foundation of fundamentals to enable participants to develop, not only as players, but also as persons. Given this base, we hope that these youths will continue playing well beyond their Junior Olympic years, for volleyball is truly a lifetime sport.

2011-2012 Tryout Results Posted!
Tryouts for the 2011-2012 season has been completed. The teams have been posted on the rosters page.  Thank you very much to everyone how came out this year. Unfortunately, we had to cut more players than we wished as we did not have sufficient resources to support additional teams.

For those players who have been selected.  Please stay tuned for a separate email from each coach with further details on the season.

In the meantime, please make sure you've read the 2011-2012 Season MVP Handbook.  Be sure to bring a signed copy of Appendix C to the next practice.
